Snapshot Saturday

I've never met Jimbob but he must be very serious about Leah if he'd risk life and limb to scale this dilapidated water tower and declare his love for her in such a public way.
Seen in Greenville, South Carolina, June 25, 2010
High on love.
The hearts are an adorable touch:
Backwards it's Leah Loves Jimbob.

That's brilliant... well spotted! And he's written it so nicely too!
Alas, poor JimBob!!Hahaa....Leah is porbably married to Roger now and has 6 kids! Why do they risk ALL to do that?? Great eagle eye you've got though! Made for a Wonderful photo!! It would make a fantastic SkyWatch shot!! Oughta enter it!
You have a Wonderful weekend sweetie!!

That's quite an erection that he mounted in order to proclaim his love. Very impressive.
I think it is way past time for the city to spend money on some paint for the water tower, heh.
Oooh, too many responses popped into my head to pick just one. So:
"Jimbob is a smart man. Flowers would have been way too impersonal."
"I hope Jimbob got a tetanus shot shot after touching that water tower. I need a tetanus shot after just looking at a photo of it."
"Why is the heart next to Jimbob's name smaller than the hearts next to Leah's? And why does Leah have two hearts to Jimbob's one? Is Jimbob making a commentary on the sexes regarding how women tend to be more caring and loving than men? And if so, what is the message Jimbob is trying to say?"
"You know, we all assume this is a love proclamation from a guy named Jimbob to a girl named Leah. But how can we be certain? Maybe that's just the name of some unfortunate guy? Think about it. Any parent crazy enough to name their son 'Jimbob' is crazy enough to give him the middle name 'Loves Leah.' Maybe this Jimbob fellow was trying to write out his full name, but he ran out of room before he could write his last name. The hearts were added because can't draw cowboys very well."
"Call me a romantic, but I bet Jimbob and Leah are living happily ever after in a dilapidated trailer somewhere."
Hahaha, that's a smart and brave man!
I love this! Sweet, funny and somehow all American at once.
You must not have driven on Rutherford Road often because this declaration of love has been around a long time - the paint was actually white when it was done and the tower a lot less rusty. My guess is that they were high school sweethearts and got married and have kids, and when they drive by now, JimBob just holds Leah's hand and hopes his kids are not stupid enough to climb a water tower when they fall in love!
