Fun In The Neighborhood

There are some wonderful, talented bloggers out there, and one of the most original is the awesome Kevin at Special Kind of Stupid. The world is full of stupid ... Kev (as he is known) is just there to document it! Being as generous and others-oriented as he is funny, Kev welcomes offerings from guest bloggers. Today he is graciously featuring me and I'm Having A Thought Here with a post I wrote especially for SKOS entitled Let's Play Post Office. Click on the gold words to read it and, if you have time, to enjoy many other of Kev's hilarious blog posts.

You're very welcome, Jenny. Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for the VERY entertaining guest post you wrote for me!
Any time, Kev. :-)
Great job. A more detailed comment is over yonder on the other site.
Kev is one of my favorite humorists. His is one of the first humor blogs I stumbled upon last summer when I started blogging. Been a huge fan ever since. Congratulations on a guest post well done!
As always, an amusing story. My grandpa works for the post office but he drives a mail truck. That man knows practically everybody. It's a family saying that a McGuffin can't walk into a place without knowing at least one person in there(thats probably where I get it from). Perhaps he should switch jobs and work behind the counter. He would certainly be much more help than that woman.
I'm sure your grandpa would be much more help than that woman, too ... unfortunately, that's not saying much because a dressed-up dog would have been more help than her! Good to have you back, Robyn!
Hi. We crashed and I lost your e-mail address. I see you are well and entertaining as ever! Thanks. :) Carron
Carron you will not believe this girl but I woke up this morning ... this VERY morning ... thinking about YOU! I said a prayer for you and hoped you'd send me an email. Please don't disappear on me like that again, 'k?
Hilarious post on the post (ha!) office, Jenny!
Glad you liked it and thanks as ever for reading, P.L.! I always look forward to your next blog post.
Congratulations! I love those Japanese restaurants that fling your food around.
And I am one of those who will have nothing to do with a grit, never mind grits.
Thanks JD ... 'preeshate it, gritless though you are!
