O Holy Night: Michael Crawford

To me he will always be The Phantom of the Opera, but Michael Crawford's ethereal voice is perfect for a song such as O Holy Night. I'm pretty sure he holds out the last note longer than anybody! And check out the darling children who join Michael in this great performance with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
Merry Christmas!

You could post this song daily and I don't think I would get sick of it - this is another beautiful rendition.
I'm glad you liked it, Mari! And I agree ... one of the joys of the Christmas season is listening to O Holy Night every single day!
That was nice. He has a surprisingly good singing voice.
To me, he'll always be the Frank Spencer from "Some Mothers Do Have 'Em". It takes a bit of getting past that one. ;)
Jay, that's a MC incarnation with which I am not familiar! Sounds like maybe it had better stay that way! Like, seriously, shut up and sing ... LOL!
No kidding! LOL!
By the way - you sent me an eCard, but I can't open it. :(
Jay ... well I never! I'll trot back over to Hallmark and see if I can get to the bottom of that!
I am a big fan of Michael Crawford and would you believe I had the pleasure of hearing and seeing him play the Phantom many years ago in Los Angeles? What a heavenly voice. I can hear he hasn't changed! Wonderful! I just thought about him recently and wondered what he'd been doing. Nice to hear him again with such a beautiful song!
Keli, I would love to hear MC sing in person! How fortunate you were able to see and hear him as the Phantom! What a great role. He has an amazing gift in his unique voice.
WOW! Well, I'm a big Phantom fan, but when you've got pipes like that, it would be a shame to limit them! The kids were adorable, although I thought the first little girl was going to have a melt down when he put the microphone up to her, bless her heart!
Tracie, I thought the first little girl looked like she was singing a different song ... but the second one was so into it, I think she would have finished the number by herself if he'd let her! So cute!
