This Is A Testy Test

Hey y'all ... many readers have told me they are unable to see my last post, I Think I Might Scream ...
In fact, I think I might scream if one more reader tells me they can't see it.
Oddly enough, I have logged onto this site several times in recent days, using two separate computers in my house and two computers in North Carolina (where I am now), and I can see it just fine ... as can many other readers.
It's a mystery.
So ... can you see me now? Let me know, please!
(What a pity if you cannot.)
I've told Squarespace about the problem and they are, I hope, working on it because I pay good money for their considerable hosting prowess.
Talk to me! Information is power.

Nope, still not showing up. Only the red clicky mouth, floating in space. How did I know you wanted to know if I could see it, you ask? Because if I select it all, it is highlighted in blue, hence readable. Otherwise, it is white on white. I sure hope you're able to get it fixed! I haven't had trouble on any one else's posts, if that helps any.
Ok, that was weird. As soon as I posted my comment, it all popped in to view! Now it's on a navy background. Maybe it was a "coinkydink" and they fixed it at precisely that moment!
Well, color me flummoxed! So Tracie, can you see the Scream post now? Or is it still white-on-white? And yes, it was very helpful that you told me it was only my site. Others are having the same prob ... but I hope it is now resolved! Thanks luv.
All looks good to me now...'Course last time it looked okay for a while and then went back to white-on-white...we'll keep ya posted. ;-)
I'm having the same white-on-white problem, Jenny.
However, I have done some investigating...
The problem has to do SPECIFICALLY with your "I Think I Might Scream" post. If I view your homepage (which has that blog post still in view) or that "...Might Screen" post individually, I see white-on-white.
If I go to any other individual blog post on your site (like right here, for example, to leave you a comment on this post), everything is fine.
The problem is somewhere within your "I Think I Might Scream" post. If you made that post private, as a test, and sent me a comment at SKOS to come check your site, I bet you I would be able to see your homepage just fine.
I don't think it's fixed - I can only see the mouth!
Oh man - just like rosezilla, it shows up after I comment. This is weird!
SO weird ... thanks guys ... unfortunately I just came in from being out for a while and I'm in the hotel's business center (I don't own a laptop) and I don't have my glasses with me, so I can hardly see to type this comment ... at any rate, thanks for looking out for me ... maybe I did something wrong when I posted that post, although I didn't do anything differently than normal ... hmmmmmm ... the good folks at Squarespace will surely get to the bottom of it.
I'd better go up to my room now and get situated for the debate. I'll bet there are some misspelled words in this comment but it's all a blur so please accept my apologies!
Also, whoever reads this please pray for me as I am developing a sore throat and that's never good ... and I have a full day of depos tomorrow and also Friday, here in Charlotte. I'll do my best to keep in touch.
J.
I haven't had a problem seeing it.
Thanks Lyn ... several others have said the same thing! The mystery continues.
Psssst, Jenny...
Give what I suggested in my last paragraph above a try. Even if it doesn't make sense for that one blog post to be the culprit, this will allow us to know for certain one way or the other.
I'll stop whispering now...
Yes Kev, do stop whispering! We are alone! LOLOLOL!
Thanks for your kind offer but I think the problem is solved. The Squarespace folks said that the YouTube code I used in the piece was the culprit, making my post invisible to those readers using Firefox.
And I think that's the best answer I'm gonna get.
So I removed the code. Can't fight anymore.
I hate to tell you this, but I still can't see the text. However - I'm subscribed to you in Google reader so I read it there and came here to respond. Hope you feel better and good luck with this problem!
Thanks Mari ... I'm so frustrated but I've complained several times and I can only assume the folks at Squarespace are working on it. Thanks for keeping up through your reader! I enjoyed your post yesterday so much ... I've thought about it several times today! Great pics and it looks like you and your Bob had a great time.
It's fine now!
Thanks Cheryl ... turns out it was owing to some corrupt YouTube code! I took it all out and presto ... back in business! But what a hassle.
