How sweet the sound

Seven-year-old Rhema Marvanne's mother, Wendi, passed away nearly two years ago, a victim of ovarian cancer.
That's when Rhema began singing.
In this particular video I don't know if it's those big brown eyes, the missing teeth, the sweet white dress, the haunting little voice ... or the sky shots or the cemetery sequence or the song, or what.
It's everything. It's Amazing Grace!
~Happy Sunday!~

You're right - it's everything! This is such a touching video!
I am often amazed at the precociousness of some small children. She seems to have a presence that escapes even old souls like us. I'm not sure how I feel about a seven-year-old keeping a schedule like that, but she is adorable and talented. I hope her adults look after her really well.
I agree with Sue the hobbit, But she is lovely.
Mari ... I was touched too!
Hobbit ... I totally agree on all points. I think she's darling but in my opinion she's being exploited. Aren't there child labor laws that would apply here? I personally would not pay to see her in person. It makes me sad.
Irene ... Agreed ... by featuring her video here I guess it looked like tacit approval on my part but I do not approve of the way she's being used. She's too little, and motherless. Time enough later to be whatever the Lord would have her be, when she's had a chance to grow.
Agree with all the thoughts about her being too young for such a lifestyle/schedule. Those thoughts aside, she has an amazing voice. And, if she chooses to still pursue it once she's old enough (and assertive enough) to decide/dictate her own path, I do not doubt she'll have a successful musical career.
That's great. It is good to see young ones with talent that are willing to share it.
I love that song.
