SkyWatch

Thanks to my new blogging buddy, Donna Staas, a stellar blogger and remarkably talented photographer, I discovered something.
To wit:
There's a blog called SkyWatch Friday.
You can see sky pictures taken by shutterbugs all around the world!
I like what they're doing over there, so consider this my first contribution.
The below pic is "clickable" to slightly embiggen, if you're into that sort of thing.
Sky over Folly Beach (Charleston), South Carolina, January 2010 Photo Jennifer Weber
If you didn't fall for the link above, click here to visit SkyWatch Friday ... or if you'd rather, click the pretty picture below!
Maybe you should enter your own sky picture. Just a thought.
And don't think you have to ooooh and aaaaah over my picture. I'm a rank amateur.
Simply gaze and enjoy.
As you were.

Great sky.
Oh, pretty, pretty! I can almost hear the ocean roar!
@ J Bar ... thank you! The sky did almost all the work.
@ Donna M. ... and it DID roar that weekend! We could hear it up at the beach house. I love South Carolina beaches in winter!

What a beautiful photo, Jenny! I don't know art, but I know what I like and...
Wait a second...
What's that in the water?
Do you see it? In the middle of the water, about 1/2 an inch from the right border? Is that...
Nessie?
The Loch Ness Monster?
Good grief, how did she get all the way to South Carolina from Scotland??
When I read the title of your post I thought it was sky watch for storms, since it seems each Friday the storms roll in and last through the weekend. This weekend is predicted to be better.
But the sky watch photos is a great idea. We have so many trees around our house I would have to drive somewhere to actually see the skyline.
@ kev ... down here that'd be Bubba! Bubba in da water! LOLOL he fell in while fishing.
@ Debbie ... I love watching the sky. I take pics of it all the time, so I was amazed to discover a web site just for posting them!
Anything with water and sunset is just fine with me! Lovely.
Really nice picture!
I gazed.
And I enjoyed.
@ christine ... I know exactly what you mean, luv.
@ Lennie ... thank you kindly!
@ Margaret ... I'm glad! *grin*
