Life without Fakebook is ... life

Perhaps you don't know this about me because I do not necessarily advertise it (much), but I despise Facebook.
Now, I know ... I know I know I know I KNOW everyone reading this is "on" Facebook. Don't get your knickers in a twist.
By saying I loathe Facebook I am neither judging nor criticizing anyone, either directly or indirectly.
I do not consider myself superior to Facebookers. As you're no doubt aware, I'm all about the Internets. I read a few blogs and I am a blogger, and I enjoy the occasional tweet on Twitter.
I think either or both of those things have way more relevance than Fakebook, but again, that's only my opinion.
So you can see why I like that commercial. I do not drive a Toyota and you're not likely to see me riding a mountain bike anytime soon, but I'm seriously down with that commercial.
Now go! Go update your status. Write on your wall and tend to your crops. I'm gonna keep on rolling. This is living.

I hadn't seen this one - I love it! (Even though I'm on Facebook) :)
NEVER did the Facebook-Thang!
Dabbled in Twitter a couple of times, and another one of those silly things, and left 'em.
I LOVE THE ROLL YOU ARE ON!!!
My husband loves it too!!!
~♥~
I know this sounds really terrible, but I got a facebook account to spy on my children. I worried that they were too free with their information and thought this would be my supervisor element. My youngest won't let me be his friend, but then again he is at home with me, but the big guy... I don't know about these kids too much information out there. I don't tweet, or text, but I'll have to learn eventually. I'm not doing the mountain bike thing either.
Blogger, Tweeter and FB'er here...Hahahaaa.....I keep NO crops, play No games...can not stand that part of it. But lots of my Blogger Buds, friends etc. are on there plus I have our company there as well.
This is exactly WHY you and I are friends!! You keep me sane!Lolol
Happy weekend dear friend!!
hughugs
I facebook...Mom made me do it ;) LOL!!
Okay, darling Pirate, I have to take exception to this one. You knew I would! I find that the people who knock facebook the most are the ones who haven't tried it. I was a critic until I tried it. And now, I have so many great things happen because of facebook and my connections on there. Every week, at least one good thing. It's so easy to stay in touch with friends, far and near, and I totally control my privacy.
Long live facebook, I say.
But then again, I know how to live outside it, too.
Best of both worlds.
But I still love you.
@Mari ... isn't that a great ad?
@Aunt Amelia ... I'll keep the hits coming as long as you'll read my every word to Uncle A! And congratulations for NOT being on Facebook!
@irene ... you make a valid point. The Too Much Information thing is only part of the reason for my distaste. There are so many things to dislike about Facebook, I hardly know where to begin. You're doing a good job with those boys. Knowledge is power.
@Donna ... girl you are just a social animal!!
@Crystal ... HAHAHA I hear you!
@Hobbit ... the very thought of "trying" Facebook is so distasteful to me as to be very close to nauseating. I do not need to try it to find that I would somehow magically like it. The entire premise of Facebook is detestable to me, the way it got started, why it was started, and the ignorant things people say and do on there (I know this because my children tell me) ... so defend away, I knew you would, but I shall not be moved. The day I would need Facebook to stay in touch with friends would be a very sad day for me indeed. So sad a day that for me it will never come.
But of course I love you too.
The only thing I use Facebook for is to promote my articles at Right Truth, same with Twitter. I don't have farms, or pyramids, or any of the other stuff, I don't have time for it.
