Dreaming of a place called home
Andrew Joel, a/k/a Captain Adorable, heads for home on Friday.
I think he's considering the implications of being obliged to share his mother with two sisters who have rank and seniority.
I told him he can rest assured she's got enough love for everyone.
We didn't discuss how much patience she might have.
I leave you with a few direct quotes from Allissa, collected over the last few days.
To me in the car yesterday, on the way to the hospital: "Are we having an epidural or a baby boy?"
Pretending to read from a hospital leaflet: "On your tummy you can have a bandaid if you're having a baby."
To Baby Andrew while adjusting his pacifier: "Do this so you can suck it more gooder."
To her mother: "He likes when I squeeze his ear."

What a funny girl! Wouldn't you love to be inside children's heads sometimes? I think our Natalie is about the same age and she comes up with some doozers sometimes.
And I just wrote "sometimes" too many times.
Love those Alissa quote - especially the "more gooder" one!
He is adorable! And his sisters will be doting on him for a long time to come!
