Melanie Plays Dress-Up
Melanie and I, instead of leaving home for an adventure today, decided to raid my closet for outfits Her Highness might enjoy modeling. My bed was heaped with shoes, hats, scarves, necklaces, bracelets, pins, shawls, tops, and purses by the time we were finished with our photo shoot. The Melster was a good sport and it's always nice to know she's got what it takes to show off for a living, heh heh ... should that ever be necessary.

I checked out a few of your picture albums. Melanie is so precious! And your daughter is beautiful. I don't think I have met her before. Will I be able to see Melanie on Sunday? I would love to if possible. Just curious, why is it that little Melanie had to go through surgery so young? What was it for? Whatever it is, she is a darling little girl who(or is it whom) I do believe I would love very much.
Melanie had surgery at 18 months of age to close a cleft palate. You can read all about it if you go to my blog-chive for January '08 and click on "Melanie Noel." Melly certainly is a darling and I know you'd love her ... she'll be at church on Sunday and you can get to know her then!
Are you still going to take her to the Riverbanks Zoo?
I may take her on Monday! I've come down with a wee cold and don't feel all that great, unfortunately. If I can get my act together though, TG and I are thinking about taking Melly downtown to Finley Park this afternoon! That should make for some cute pictures. This won't be until after her lunch and her nap ... it will take me that long to get myself presentable for viewing by the general public ...
That sounds wonderful! Well, except for the wee cold part. I sure hope you start feeling a lot better. I'll pray about it. =]
Actually I'm feeling so crummy, I don't think we'll make it to the park today! And now it's clouding up outside! Yes, please do pray for me.
Very cute, although after viewing the pictures, I'm not sure who had the better time--Melly or you!
Isn't she adorable and lucky to be able to share some of your lovely wardrobe! I love the fire engine red ensemble! And the hats - I have a thing for hats!
Donna ... you're onto me! I think I had more fun than she did! I couldn't stop laughing.
Keli ... she sure is adorable ... Greg took her back home today and I miss her so much. I too thought the red getup was most inspired ... and girl, like you I do love my hats! Just the thing for a bad hair day ...
Those tiny red fingernails are killing me! With cuteness!
Isn't she something? I can't believe how she posed! So natural! I think there's more of this kind of thing in her future.
