You Want To Find This
The Promise Of Redemption

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalm 1

Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom and then lost it, have never known it again.

I see cloud people

I look at this picture and I see faces.

Two, to be exact.

A large contemplative face and a smaller, laughing, upturned face!

Faces within faces, as it were.

I do not recognize the faces and no, I'm not off either my rocker or my meds.

Actually a rocker sounds nice but I don't need meds, thanks ever so.

I am, however, hungry for validation.

Do you see them?

Please tell me you see them.

Reader Comments (13)

Okay..so I definitely see the contemplative face. But the smaller, laughing upturned face I'm sort of struggling for. But I think I see it... : ) Great picture!!

I see both faces too, I'm sitting in my rocker.....

This rocking chair was given to me by my hubby right after we met, it was the first present he ever got me. I have had it refinished twice, I have had new cushions made once by a professional and twice by me. It is the most comfortable chair in the house. (hint: it's OLD)

Great picture.

I see them! I must be as crazy as you. :)

Hey Jenny - make sure you check my post for today. It's there because of you! :)

June 23, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterMari

Jenny, I think see them and I think they see me! Again, I love your web site! It is like a vacation!

June 23, 2011 | Unregistered CommenteriOTWGinger

I see them! But only because you saw them first!

June 23, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterDonna

Yup. We're all crazy together.

June 23, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterSue the Hobbit

@Audrey ... the little one is the eye of the big one! Hope that helps ...

@Debbie ... your rocker sounds divine, not just for what I am sure is its beauty, but for its priceless sentimental value. Rock on, girlfriend!

@Mari ... oh what a relief. I was going to be really worried if nobody but me saw 'em. And THANKS for the pics of Laura's baubles! She is a VERY gifted jewelry maker and I hope she never stops creating! NOW my advice to you is ... do a blog giveaway of one of Laura's original pieces! Chop Chop!

@Ginger ... girl I know you're up in the sky and they see you for real. Please pop in any time you have a mo!

@Donna ... well I do enjoy being your tour guide of faces in the sky!

@Hobbit ... I KNEW you'd see them. Just knew it.

June 24, 2011 | Registered CommenterJennifer

Oh goodness, I see three faces... Now I'm worried. Apparently the FIRST face I saw isn't either of the two you saw! (In front of the small smiling face, a whitish female(?) face also looking up and half-smiling?) Does that make me craziest?

June 24, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterSydney

@Sydney ...OK now the small face I see is the whitest, brightest part of the cloud. Cannot determine gender. You say there's another one ... so far I can't spot it! But I'll keep trying ...

p.s. I should've named this post "Profiles in Cloudage" ...

June 24, 2011 | Registered CommenterJennifer

YES I do! See the 2 which you do. And I see a kind of a third.

To me, the smaller very bright face, is lying in a reclining position. And has quite the voluptuous figure, and hair streaming out behind her.

Now to read the other comments and see if anyone else sees this too.

Gentle hugs,
~♥~

June 24, 2011 | Unregistered Commenter'Aunt Amelia'

-chuckle- Nope. I'm the only one who sees the 3rd. A reclining gal with etc.

Mmmmmmmm, so what does that make me, in the "crazy department"? -giggles-

Gentle hugs,
~♥~

June 24, 2011 | Unregistered Commenter'Aunt Amelia'

@Auntie A ... I see exactly what you see! Now. LOLOL and who would I be to call YOU crazy? Not gonna happen luvvy.
